I thought that was the case with you. In a way. The holiday didn't line up with when I actually had someone to celebrate it with. I still used to make things for it. Cards. Candies.

I had assumed you were referring to before then but that was a careless assumption. I apologize for being so tactless. But I hope you might be able to return to it if it's something you enjoyed.

It had pros and cons. I found the act of creating and gifting enjoyable. The response was less than satisfactory but I know better now.

Well, there are still people out there who would gladly accept your generosity. It's good that you learned from it but you shouldn't feel discouraged.

Certainly they would take anything from me here with a kind enough smile but would hardly be rewarding to gift everyone I know in passing. It removes all meaning from the gesture. There's value in having few recipients. Or a singular one. I appreciate your optimism.

That certainly removes some of the fun. Mister Arc may appreciate something but I don't want to be misleading. I suppose I'll just leave the holiday alone then. I haven't anyone else to bother with.

I guess I'm not used to having someone genuinely offer me kind gestures yet. In your case I might be able to get better at it.

Well. I don't think I'll be able to match the caliber of whatever it is you'll get up to but you can expect something from me as well.
