I thought that was the case with you. In a way. The holiday didn't line up with when I actually had someone to celebrate it with. I still used to make things for it. Cards. Candies.

It isn't.

Oswald, I wasn't allowed to use a pen unsupervised on the last one.

It had pros and cons. I found the act of creating and gifting enjoyable. The response was less than satisfactory but I know better now.

Certainly they would take anything from me here with a kind enough smile but would hardly be rewarding to gift everyone I know in passing. It removes all meaning from the gesture. There's value in having few recipients. Or a singular one. I appreciate your optimism.

Would you want something?

Anything received from me would feel like an obligation of mine?

That certainly removes some of the fun. Mister Arc may appreciate something but I don't want to be misleading. I suppose I'll just leave the holiday alone then. I haven't anyone else to bother with.

You want me to? Ah. You could have said so.

I'll make you something. :)

I'm not too used to it either. Something new for the both of us.

I'm sure anything you get would go above and beyond.
