What? There's nothing to be done about her disappearance outside of being informed, as the evidence all indicated it is the result of an extremely common phenomena. The public belief is that she was returned home.
If you want Chinese they close in twenty minutes. I sort of need an answer.
I'm not a moron, Ed. I'm aware of the facts. Do you not find it the least bit disturbing that one of us could be gone tomorrow and the other stuck here on their own?
[ And about 30 seconds later... ]
For God's sake, fine. Order the damn Chinese food.
It's disturbing and fascinating. But I'm under the impression those with deeper connections to others here are less likely for this to happen to. I'm not too concerned.
My supporting evidence is admittedly lacking. It's a theory of mine based on what I've learned watching people's network activity. Those with friends last longer and those arriving together rarely end up separated.
I did type that. The sample size included multiple friends but one should suffice. If not, you have enough. There's me. One. Miss Sutcliff may be considered a friend. Two. You can include that informative child, if you want. Three. Miss Kringle by proxy. Four. That's enough.
I agree. She made collaborating our stories difficult. She refused to paint certain people in our history in a negative like despite it being advantageous should they ever arrive. Our opinions need to be held at a higher value.
If we're speaking in bold terms then for the time being, yes. Just you.
[ Grell was someone he would possibly like to consider a friend but there was still too much he didn't know about her. Things like how quickly she would be willing to turn against him. The boy seemed to have genuine enough intentions, but for what reason Oswald hadn't quite figured out. Kristen? It was highly unlikely that something like friendship could ever occur between the two of them. Maybe Ed was the only true friend he would ever have. That much was certainly true in Gotham. Why would that change in Genessia? ]
At least the only difficulty she can cause now is the small issue of it being necessary for us to pretend that we're somewhat shaken by her absence.
[ Admittedly, he read over the text a few times before settling into a grin. He wished that he could have heard those words in person, but... knowing Ed viewed him that way made all the other things that had gone right recently seem a little less important. Having an actual best friend that saw you as the same was... well, it was wonderful. ]
I'm glad. It would be awkward if you didn't feel that way considering I do as well.

I need to know while there are reasonable ordering windows and allowable prep time.

Eggroll?

Do you have something to back that notion that I haven't heard about?
Whatever.
text;
I'll pick it up.

Will you stop being so fixated on the subject of food now?
text;
Fine. Apologies. I may have skipped lunch.

I believe I've said more than once that you shouldn't make a habit of doing that.

That's enough.
Yes. I know. But Miss Kean did go missing.
text;
How long did you search for her?
text;
Long enough to confirm my suspicions. Could have searched longer but I doubt she would go searching for either of us. It would be a waste of time.
text;
It works in our favor that she's gone. I won't be shedding any tears.

That shouldn't be terribly hard.
She was only an acquaintance. We hardly knew her.

[ Never mind Barbara for just then. ]

I'm so pleased we're on the same page.
Re: text;
Yes, so am I. Pleased indeed.
[ Closer to the same page, anyway... ]
Anyway, was that everything? We should leave some discussion for during dinner.
text;
Yes. That is all. The food should be here the same time you are.
